This class consists of a flowing sequence of movements that starts with gentle, seated warm-ups on a stool, followed by floor work and standing exercises. The class involves continuous, rhythmic movements focusing on spinal articulation and breath, incorporating self-massage, simple breathing patterns, and exercises for your whole body. You will leave feeling energized, balanced, and more mobile. This class translates really well to a virtual class so is great for doing from home or for when you are travelling.
This class consists of a full-body, low-impact workout that combines fluid, spiraling movements with specific breathing patterns. In this class you will do a set of exercises on each of the specialized pieces of Gyrotonic equipment to help you stretch and strengthen your body, improve coordination, and increase your range of motion. This class is somewhat self-directed/self-paced, although the instructor will be present and assisting with equipment changes and guidance for the movements. A private session is recommended before participating in this class.
This class consists of a full-body, low-impact workout that combines fluid, spiraling movements with specific breathing patterns. The class will guide you through a series of exercises using specialized, adjustable equipment to help you stretch and strengthen your body, improve coordination, and increase your range of motion. You can also expect a meditative and holistic approach, with a focus on continuous movement, rhythm, and connecting breath to movement. In this class we learn to move as a unit with our classmates. A private session is recommended before participating in this class.
